Yeah but just generally it was really bizarre how weak your standard elf was, so many of them got wrecked at Helms Deep it blew my mind. Not forgetting the fact that they should not have even been there in the first place :unimpressed:

Also don't know if you've ever seen it but this scale showing the known dragons of the Tolkienverse is pretty bad ass. Don't f*** with Ancalagon :cool:

What really makes me curious is how damn powerful the Lord of the 1st Age Eagles must have been to fight him :/ Gwaihir was so small :unimpressed:

Not all the elves were very powerful. Not even all of the Noldor could withstand the onset of the Nazgul, only a few could (including Glorfindel). The ones at Helms Deep were born in middle earth so they wouldn't be significantly more powerful than normal men. They'd be lesser than the line of Aragorn.
