And I told you that is a piss poor example because Kim K and Kanye do not represent average people. You decided to laugh at it.
Do you understand that the probability of being from their lifestyle enables them to do certain things with exemption from the same rules that apply to regular civilians? :s-smilie: So it's horrible to look at a media celebrity and say, "well they did it. It's possible."

No it ain't. "And if it's not possible let's make it." Why they hell would you want to? I'm not trying to insult or aggravate or offend, I really am trying to understand why you would take them as a realistic .

lol daily doses of mainstream popular culture in television , music and magazine formats will do this to some people. So glad I no longer surround myself with such media.

Okay. Fait enough.
But what about pornstars/strippers/prostitutes that find husbands then?
(No, I do not aspire to be a pornstar if that is what you are thinking)

Loool the tomfoolery never stops with you.
I disagree. You use the example of men being allowed to wander around shirtless and how people think it's acceptable whereas its a different story for women. Yes, double standards are disgusting, but I think that you're looking at it from the complete wrong angle. It's like the whole backlash over articles like "10 Things Men Find Unattractive in Women" and half of females everywhere explode and angrily say, "Tell me when I asked?" However, there're similar things going around showing what the "perfect guy" looked like or what clothes he would wear etc. You don't hear anyone crying out about that and how terrible it is to generalise or to try and make men feel awful if they don't conform to the images. Forgive me, but when did two wrongs start making a right?

I don't get why female singers/performers/whatever/etc are constantly slut shamed if they wear something short for example and if a guy is shirtless then he's praised for it and they don't get for it????

#I know this is random but i me and friend were talking about it the other day.#
double standards exist and it's pretty shitty.

I think for the same reason that men going to a strip club are 'disgusting' and women who hire a male stripper at a hen do are 'just having a bit of fun'.

Lol I mean if you do, whatever ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ my issue isn't being free with sex, my issue is looking up to indecent people.
But anyway I don't know of any pornstars who are married, not saying they don't exist, I just don't know about them like that so I can't say it from anything but an objective view that well it's probably someone who also works in the industry ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ or a fan and now that I come to think of it, yes it's probably someone from within the industry, like a porn director. I just don't get the cavalier mentality and burgeoning attitudes of "whatever" in society and media when it comes to proper values. Does this not bother you? It bothers me. As for strippers and prostitutes...IIIII don't know any personally to answer that :ninja: lol but I'm sure anyone can, if so lucky, find "that person for them." Also people divorce and marry for the wrong reasons all the time so you can't look at, "well marriage so it's okay." Nah. I don't judge peoples' marriages because who knows what's going on privately. So I can't say,"well they're married, so good on them :top:!"

But I know what you're getting at: they're with someone so it's okay.
The issue with indecency is not, "you'll never find someone."
The issue is, who will you find? What values do they have? Are they a good a person? Are they as good as you can get because of how you are? The issue is also, are you someone I would want to be around? Are they someone you want to be around? Live around? Work with? Work under? Work over? In the government? In the churches (if you're religious)? In the schools? It's not just the premature thought about whether you find someone. Hell anyone can find someone. Can you keep them? Do you deserve them? Do they deserve you? Are they a positive person who create and maintain a positive environment for you? I can honestly say someone who is loose probably isn't.

A slut doesn't stop being a slut because she gets married lol. I think loveleest is confused, the wedding ring doesn't mean you have become a higher caliber of person Lool. Especially in this day and age where marriage as an institution is devalued for many reasons.

womens asses/tits are far more... how would i say, 'precious' to them than men?
it really doesnt matter if a man has his shirt off, hes not showing anything explicit

if a woman grabbed a mans chest, he would never moan or feel sexually assaulted
the same does not apply to a woman

therefore she is effectively putting on display her most private areas of her body for attention
thats why there is slut shaming

This might be the dumbest comment I've heard all day. sexual harassment is sexual harassment regardless of gender.

I can't say I'm too surprised that a woman such as loveleest would even mention Kim k, her mind didn't even care to filter how absurd an example Kim k is and that maybe just maybe she should not mention nor praise such a low standard of woman.

The plight of some sectors of society in looking upto such trash is so normalised in today's mainstream culture.

That's pretty ****ing spot on there.

Basically. The ring should make you a better person considering vows but not everyone complies with that nor do they apply it to their marriages weirdly enough.

I can't find that comment but he has a point as far as knowing what breast now represent and so showing them is obviously provocative, whether she's unaware about it or being intentional or not. Arguing what breast should mean and what they're really for is futile because it doesn't matter; they're now seen as sex tools. Why show off your sex tools.

You can be in an open marriage where both partners openly and knowingly sleep with different people. It really doesn't mean much, I have never really looked up to marriage as anything special and it certainly is not much today even for those getting married.

My point is, a women is not any less of a women because she has a sex life...
If you found out that one of your female family/friends had a high sex count with men, would you perceive her different despite her being a lovely, caring, funny, intelligent human being?

There is SO much more to a women to her sexuality, and if you can't understand that then I honestly do not know what else to say.

Of course but the word slut by definition cannot be applied to a male and I think it's very hard for a men to even behave in such a way but of course there are men who do behave in the same way as a female slut. They still wouldn't be sluts though and that guy has to be pretty damn good looking or loaded financially.

But that's really unfair isn't it?
Why is it okay for a guy to have a crazy sex life, but not a women? There is no difference at all.

There is more to a woman then her sexuality and if a woman wishes to be respected for these things she better not behave like a slut or at least let it be known that she behaves like one. Women play a central part in some families, I think it's wrong for you to attack people for wanting women of a high standard.

Okay, firstly what is a 'slut' to you?
I don't think there is anything wrong with a guy wanting to date a girl that is not a "slut" but you shouldn't shame "sluts". That is where the problem occurs.

Who said life is fair?

Why are you swallowing the feminist pill so much?

Also please only talk of your view point, for you in your mind it's ok for a men to sleep around a lot and that's your view this doesn't mean wider society accepts it or that me or mango peeler accepts it as right.

Truth is women should stop comparing themselves to men, we are not the same.

I shame both men and women for being immoral hedonistic morons but the reason females have it worse is because men at least have to work to better themselves to have lots of sex. Complaints about this double standard come from people who dont have a clue about how dating and attraction work.
On a side note I advise anyone who thinks being promiscious is ok to research the emotional consequences of such a lifestyle.
