It's just that you took the '+17' to the other side, so it becomes -17 :smile:
Super simple, you shifted the 17 to the other side of the '=' sign without making it negative

I didn't spot any mistakes? That answer would make sense if the coefficient a was positive

Check the question - is the coefficient of the quadratic term negative?

At the end did you remember to subtract 17 from both sides? You seem to have a positive answer ...

I do not own a smart phone ...
I take pictures with a camera or scanner.

Fgs I wrote the question wrong -_- it was
-2x^2 +3x -(2k+1)
