Why is wealth looked down upon on tsr?

In terms of wanting to be rich and owning nice things, so I ask in why it I a negative.
Young people should aspire to be rich

Because the way some people come across, they sound cocky which makes them sound ignorant and thus wealth is portrayed in a negative light.
Because often times the only "rich people" who are noticed on TSR are the ones telling everyone they're rich

my plan is to win thel lottery and go for cocktails :smile: it will happen :smile: and then il get a job at a panda sanctuary and be best friends with the pandas and maybe adopt one and then pay my parents debts and sort my kids out so there comfortable when there older and maybe a spa day and and and yea :smile:

Is it? I know I'd rather be rich than smart.
Its also like the whole private vs state schools. People on here tend to dislike those who go to a private school.

Just what ive observed anyway.
