I don't know about you but I prefer to see the face of my colleagues...

You said it looks inappropriate to cover their head, last time i checked, your face is on your face. Not head.

Hijab doesn't cover the face.

...some of them cover the whole face/body and which was what I was specifically referring to.
But the hijab is annoying to me also on a personal level.

Lol that's quite silly.
If someone turned me down at a job interview because I wore a headscarf, I'd be happy I wouldn't have to work with people who hold those kind of views.

For some reason your on line persona feels more male...
Anyway what Islamic head attire do you wear?

Most people feel that way and it's because of my username too.
Just headscarf.

Well I'm sure they would be also happy they don't have to work with you.

Anyways I have nothing against Muslims just the religion.

Do you agree with my original comment on the thread though? I think it's a pretty valid point.

There is nothing 'unprofessional' about a headscarf. What about doctors who wear the headscarf/nurses?
Wow such a disgusting mentality you have.

Last time I checked people don't keep their hat during interviews.

My mum had cancer and she wore a wig.... But she had a choice and once the hair grows back it's not a problem so your little comparison is not really appropriate.

Please read my initial comment on the thread and give me your opinion on that.

I've seen it worn in an office environment and it looks fine, like if they wear a plain one. Would you say/think the same to a Sikh man wearing a turban?

Lol discrimination much.

You clearly have something against Muslims if you don't like them wearing headscarves at interviews.

No I didn't really get it.

I'm sorry but it does look unprofessional.... I didn't create the professional look so don't blame me. As I've said I don't have anything against Muslims so my opinion is simply based on this scenario.

People remove their hat when they are working in an office, unless it is part of a uniform. This is basic respectful behaviour.

Yes the less you cover, the more business like you look...

if we're talking about headrags it's kind of a specific matter, not a broad one like the principle you're describing. it's a good thing that islam doesn't literally tell women to cover their heads though or else we'd have trouble on our hands, huh?
