Harper Lee dies aged 89

Sad news that Harper Lee, author of 'to kill a mockingbird' has died aged 89.

What a fantastic author who really broke the mould and wrote something that will stand the test of time.

Sad news but I'm happy that she was able to see work become so adored in her lifetime, I think that is every writers dream :smile:

Oh man. TKAMB was such a good book and I didn't appreciate it enough when I was studying it for y11 but damn, she'll be remembered.
