For the first one;

Let W = weight of the fruit

then W~N(32, 7^2)

so find P(W>40)

Hint below: (if you need it)

the 1300 pieces of fruit is kind of like a part 2 to the question, find the probability first then for the second part I think you just multiply percentage by 1300

thank you for your help. I've got it now. Could someone help me with this too? Would you use the sum of the frequency of the mean when calculating SD or the sum of the frequency x X divided by the sum of the frequency? Also need help on the second part. What do you do after calculating the probability? Divide by the number of students then multiply by 100? Thanks. I've been so stuck on this as well.
