You were 9?! WTF?!?!
Honey, it is really not worth the pain it causes you. I felt so bad reading that you end up getting a sore stomach

Have you tried talking to a counsellor about it?

I would just like to point out that this is not an appropriate reaction when someone is asking for help. People can start masturbating quite early on if they somehow end up introduced to the idea at the time, which is very easy to stumble upon on the internet. As much as it is not a good thing, the person themselves isn't exactly going to know that because they are still a child that hasn't had any official sex education.

I do agree on talking to a counsellor though.
Or just go to your GP and ask for advice on how to deal with addiction, especially since the extent you go to is causing physical harm to you and you seem to be struggling with self control. This surely counts as a mental health problem.

Otherwise, you could try and find something else to occupy yourself with. As much as I don't want to say you should replace one bad habit with another, it could work. If you pick up a hobby that you would really get into, then maybe you would actually be able to keep porn and masturbating off your mind?

If you're too shy, try looking at some books about recovering from a porn addiction
Here's a possible help book:

Thanks, I appreciate your help
I was thinking maybe I should try masturbating without porn again as this is a healthier option.

Really?
I thought it was only me. I've been so isolated these few days. How are things with you? Has anything gone better?

I struggle. A lot these last few days, I too can spend hours. Even my period doesn't stop me..

A-levels and life is SO stressful now, porn becomes a form of escaping for me.

I experience everything you said, rape fantasies in the moment don't scare me, after I think about how messed up I am. :/

Lol I'm scared to say. Please don't judge me guys, I know I'm anon but it's quite embarrassing. Normally it's once/twice a day depending on how I feel but after I had tried to stop, three/four times. I tried speaking to my friend about the issue this morning but I don't know how she would view me afterwards. Apparently most girls don't even masturbate daily. Me and my friends were kidding around about masturbation once- they were all like I don't see how guys can do this everyday though it feels good, that they do it like three times a week. I just kept quiet and though well, am I a guy then? Sigh.

I'm pretty certain masturbation can be a daily activity for both sexes. If you really feel like it's having a negative effect on your life, then maybe you should get counselling.

I'm not judging you. It's a natural thing, and quite honestly, the numbers you've given me aren't a worrying amount. Only when it starts to hurt you have a problem.

If you're content, then I won't judge. I've just never heard of that before.
Just try and keep it under control. Fantasies and Masterbating frequently is not unusual or that concerning.
The 'hardcore' nature of the porn and longevity of your 'sessions' are more of a problem imo.
I reckon you'll find a guy and will just have a high libido, he'll love your sex drive
Don't beat yourself up about it, i doubt it's that unusual. However, viewing less hardcore porn would probably help you...

Maybe 'content' implied the wrong thing actually lol. But yeah I'm happy not knowing what it is and not taking part... I guess I'm a bit of a weird person then :s-smilie:

Not weird, maybe uncommon, but not weird. I kind of look up to people like you.

I never even knew how common it was till I saw TSR threads... Any ways I should get out of OP's thread I'm not exactly helping.

If it doesn't cause you to be sexually frustrated then this would probably help with your fantasies.Another thing to add to what I already said - there could be a medical reason for why you have a high libido. I guess it's unlikely, but it could be worth trying to talk to a doctor about that?Other than that, your problem is likely due to the fact that you got "introduced" to porn and masturbating at a young age, before puberty. Honestly, the same thing happened to me, although I don't have an addiction (possibly because I never discovered what an orgasm is). But I can really relate with your problem on fantasies :/ It is making it difficult to be turned on by a normal guy at this point. I'll skip going into detail here, you can pm me about it if you want.

Hey everyone,
Sorry this is going to be quite explicit/tmi but I think I need help.
I'm beginning to realise that I have a dependency on porn or that I am addicted to where it's become compulsive behaviour or currently is.

I'm now 18 and I began watching porn on and off at the age of 8/9 years then became fully hooked around 10/11 years to where I would view it daily as itt helped me masturbate. Now reflecting over my life, it's been 10 years since I've been viewing this junk. Why I call it junk is because it's made my fantasises and thoughts more violent. Also I've become desensitised to certain hardcore porn, it seems that after a while I go for something more violent and it's becoming worrying. I now only have rape fantasises where before my fantasises were much more romantic when I tried stopping for a while.

Because I use porn to masturbate as it helps me reach orgasm- I tried to stop masturbating gradually so went from everyday to 3 times a week to see if it would stop me from going to porn on the internet but it didn't work as everything became a mental battle. Mentally I was still viewing this stuff and ended up going back to it online, spending hours and days watching it and masturbating. I began having cramps and became sore around the bottom of my stomach because of the constant contractions I had experienced from those hours.I know I sound like a creep but I think I have a problem or is this normal?

Find a f*ck buddy.

Hey, sorry my response had sent by accident before I could finish typing. Here's the account, just pm me :h:
I was meant to say wow, that is exactly what I am experiencing too. That I use it as a form of escapism too as I have anxiety issues and problems with stress. Hope things are getting better for you. I've physically tried to monitor what I watch and listen to as the slightest of things trigger the need to go back on it. It's been super difficult.

Sounds completely normal to me. if you become sore then all you need to do is take a rest then go back to your normal routine.

Well it only becomes a problem if you can only get enjoyment from sexual activity through porn or if you prefer it to having a partner.

If that is the case then you simply try to stop using it and if that doesn't work you should seek a counsellor.

As for the fantasy stuff it isn't a problem my girlfriend likes that sort of stuff it's fairly normal

There is only and I repeat ONLY ONE solution. Yes, sorry to say, I have been there to,but there is a way out! The first thing to do is consider if you are saved. Yes I am a Christian Baptist. If you're not saved there is no real hope. Oh yes you'll quit for a while, but it won't last. Now what I mean by saved is have you put your faith in Jesus Christ alone for the remission of sins? I don't mean Mary or any one else I mean Jesus Christ who came down to earth and lived a sinless life, died, was buried and rose again the third day to pay for your sins, my sins and everybody else's. Once you have trusted Jesus Christ and Him alone he'll take you to heaven when/if you die. Only He can help you. Pray and ask Him to help you overcome this problem. Also check out some Baptist advice. And get into the KJV Bible and read it. Start in Romans.please heed this. Hell is waiting and it would be great if you didn't go there.
