I tried watching porn for the first time - didn't work

Just a bit of background - I'm an 18 year old virgin female and I do get pretty horny sometimes, so I thought maybe porn would be that one thing that triggers me to start masturbating

But nope, it didn't. It was way too blatant. I even tried snippets of girl on girl but it didn't work.

Maybe there's something wrong with me? Idk. I need advice :redface:

Maybe you need to find the type you enjoy. When you masturbate (if you do already, it wasn't clear in your original post) what do you fantasise about?

I personally prefer female friendly soft core stuff and missionary. Also face sitting and intimate stuff in general. You just need to find what works for you.

That said maybe porn isn't for you. Alternatives would be simply fantasising, audios or erotic novels? Also if you have a celebrity crush maybe look up send scenes they have done it could work as an alternative to mainstream porn.

Are you waiting until marriage and hence the virgin still being a thing and testing with masturbation?

Maybe you may find that porn is not your kind of thing because, like me, you are asexual but don't know it?

I doubt there's anythinf wrong with you. You just need to find what you enjoy most. Maybe it's worth contacting guys/girls/whatever you like to find something to please you.

Why would you ask is she waiting till marriage just because she is a Virgin at 18 years old? That's putting pressure on her even more plus it's not uncommon to be a Virgin at 18.

Never had a boyfriend or anything because of a strict family. I don't think I'm waiting for marriage.

I don't want this to be the main point of discussion as the thread is about something else but....

It is a persons own decision to remain celibate but OP never mentioned anything about celibacy or wanting to have had sex before 16 so I don't know why you have brought it up. You mentioning her perhaps waiting till marriage may subconsciously make her feel pressure as it would do to many people.

I recommend literotica as an online site with stories, it has different categories as well as audios. Means you don't have to buy the equivalent to 50 shades of grey.
