How to revise poems?

I have annotated my anthology (am doing Relationships AQA) I cant seem to retain the information no matter how hard I try, so what do you recommend I do :smile:. Many thankss
Don't worry too much, your probably overthinking it. Just keep reading it with breaks in-between and try to go beyond the text (imagine what the writer was thinking when he wrote it).
Ahhh is AQA relationships the one with nettles? :smile:

And flashcards, mindmaps and we made a little booklet with the poem name on the top, then the literary devices used / meaning / structure below it, really helped :smile:
