gross hand injury on first date

Just put bandage on it or something if you're worried about how it looks.
Can you put a square clear plaster over it? If not due to medical advice, then I don't think it looks that bad. I assume it's not contagious by the fact it's uncovered. If asked be honest about what it is.
You should put cream and a plaster on it, even disregarding the date, it needs to heal, if your date asks about tell them the truth or just say you injured it and leave it at that :smile:

Cover it with a plaster second.

Good news everyone! I didn't read any of the responses but I DID get a raincheck on the date. Well technically that was her idea but still. I thought it would have healed by now because I burnt it like a week ago. But I burnt it on the element in the oven and my sister said that it could be a third degree burn since it didn't hurt.
