Big Business is Getting the EU to Force UK to Repay £Billions in Tax Revenues

Major corporations, like British American Tobacco (BAT) have already used the European Court of Justice (ECJ) to force the exchequer to hand over £billions e.g. by arguing that historic tax differentials on revenues flowing from UK vs. EU subsidiaries (dating back to the early 70s, would you believe) constituted 'a barrier to European trade in contravention of the principles of the single market' | Source

These refunds use the same mechanism as the EU Corporation tax dodges - cross charging between countries within the EU. In the case of the final dodge (not used here) they export the cross charges out of the EU.

Maybe its the influence of the media and the idea of globalization. People feel helpless. It is time to rebel.
