Thats nice. Next time dont bother posting then.

Have fun at Nottingham or Bath.

There's still the chance you could do a master's at a real university.

Which Index? Good luck finding 4% interest on an index fund in 2016.

Yeah things aren't looking too great at the moment, but I'm thing of long term, over decades.

I'd sail the Danube and live in a fancy hotel in every city next to it.

Buy a really nice house, go on lots of holidays and clothes and makeup
Stick it in a 3% interest account, live very comfortably off the 90k a year interest, also in the knowledge that I'm a millionaire and never have to work again
I WANT A BENTLEY! (well maybe)

Oh and maybe some hiking bootsand gear(hiking backpack, thermals, over pants, jacket, socks, trangia, tent.
The rest can be for charity
Probably save like 2.5million

500,000 gonna go splash out.

let see 3 mill well thats the old life plan done (11 cars, 12 watches a load of jewellery and a pile of gifts) then I'd focus on getting my business to the high-end market
Buy a restaurant n quit my job

I'd buy several strategically placed project properties, develop them, then sell them for profit.
£500,000 to family
£700,000 on a PC, laptop, desk, house, electric cad, insurance, lessons, uni
£650,000 savings/investments
£50,000 in normal account for clothes, food etc. Etc,
£1,000-£10,000 on Games (particuraly Steam)
£750,000 to charity
£240,000 to homeless

I'd like to donate more, but I feel like I would want to settle myself first, because then any money I earn from working I don't have to save/worry about as everything is paid for and instead I can spend that on charity/helping donate etc.
Said no one ever.

Probably not spend it tbh

Stick it in a safe, low-interest account somewhere and use it up as and when I need it, i.e. for university, a house, car, new graphics cards...
Bitcoin mining farm? :h:

Pay off parent's mortgage. Buy a house of my own, outright. Pay off student loans. See if girlfriend would like to do a teaching degree and offer to fund it. Make sure I've got at least a million left over and put it in a high-interest bank account; that way I would earn the equivalent of a good wage, which means I could pursue writing without needing to worry about paying the bills while I'm just getting started.

And I'd also perhaps quit my teaching career
