Well I heard 2 days before 2 weeks others got offers after 8-9 days so don't worry too much about it. It does matter what you missed out really it's more about what you said!!

There's so many obvious things I could've said so maybe I looked weak :frown: Imperial is my first choice so this sucks 😂 Thanks for the encouragement though and congrats on your offer!

That's how I felt after my interview! I was so worried, I didn't think it went badly but I was worried I hadn't said enough of that I'd gone off topic but it turned out fine

Thank you, hope all goes well for me! I didn't say anything about my ability to multitask and I see that that's on the score sheet, is that a problem??

Thanks dude!! You always feel like there's more you can say I guess I hope it goes ok though still! Just remember 65% get in I think from interview like there are people that do exceptionally bad and as long as you say something that's good it should be fine. Also if you showed charisma and personality it should be pretty good too!

they probably felt you had already demonstrated multitasking in your application otherwise they would've asked a question specifically about it so I wouldn't worry

Please be honest, according to my profile, where would be best for me, and on a scale of 1 to 10 (increasing strength), how strong would you say my application is generally then specifically for imperial ?

Ok well the bad news. I'm really sorry to say but an application for imperial would not be a good idea as they require 3 GCSEs of grade A so sadly, as this is their first hurdle for application is GCSEs and if you don't meet those you will not be considered at all! Ok so my GCSEs weren't the best either but I think there are actually still quite a few school you can apply to that don't consider them (trust me I know myself). For example I applied to Queen Mary, Newcastle and Exeter (don't apply here unless you have 3A*s predicted). I applied to these because Qmul uses 50% UKCAT and 50% UKCAT to select and Newcastle use UKCAT to rank candidates so I knew my UKCAT had to be good as well lol.

So yeah it's really about APPLYING SMART make sure you look at all Unis and how they select and their minimum requirements if you don't meet their minimum requirements, do not apply!!!! If they use GCSEs to rank candidates, do not apply!!!! Apart from that though your options are limited, there are still a few/enough you can apply to. Your UKCAT just needs to BANGGGGG. So moral of the story. Apply smart, Start UKCAT prep at the beginning of this summer holiday and I think for like Brighton BMAT might be good too but requires a looooootttt of work (for me anyway!!) so yeah you can do it don't let your GCSEs knock you but do accept you are st a slight disadvantage. Some schools won't even look at them (at all). If you need more info ask and I'll tell you lol. Hope this helps!! 😊😊

To anyone who hasnt received any sort of email after getting their offer, i phoned them up today and asked and they said everything is fine and there wasnt anything important in that email, but we will recieve an offer pack in the next couple of months with all the relevant info, i assume it was just a glitch
Had my interview today. I didn't get those 2 questions either. On reflection, it's understandable. The questions asked were quite intelligent.
Going to be a long 2 week wait.

Overall I think it was alright but I did waffle a bit in the beginning. I agree with Tsar007 the questions were cleverly worded.

what do you mean by intelligent questions?
as in the questions were all tailored to YOU specifically?
Can't say, of course.
😀
For those who attended the tour, how was it? How long did it last? What did you do?

I've heard very conflicting things about it lol

It's about half an hour long, you go around the campus and get to ask questions about the medical school. I find it was a good way to relax a bit before the interview and also get to talk to other applicants.
Hey everyone,
In how many days did Imperial reply to people post interview? (Like what is the minimum number of days that people heard back in?)
Hey everyone, sorry if I am interrupting the interview discussion but does anyone mind looking through my stats to see if I'm good enough for Imperial btw I'm in year 12 and some are based on my predictions.
Gcses: 4A*s 5As (went to a really crap school and got highest in the year)
AS: B at physics A in maths
A level: A* Bio A in Chem and A in maths
