I'm middle eastern and yeh, among our friends almost all are actually virgins. Waiting for marriage is like embedded into our culture like 1950s Britain. Mostly of us marry within our own race though.

Being the sort of person that is a massive geek yet somewhat charismatic I happen to have a lot of folk admit to me they're virgins (without them knowing I am hehe). This notion that 99% of 20 year olds these days have slept with more than 3 people is ****ing insane. It's nowhere near that number. I'd say it's closer to 50% tbh...

For a start I've heard so many ****ing male sob stories about how they rushed sex the first time, realised it was **** (which it need not be, but that's their fault for rushing it) and then were put off ever since and now are 25...

Half the people who say they sleep with loads of women are lying. The other half are legit. But nobody goes around saying they haven't slept with many women. It isn't what masculinity encourages.

Furthermore most people on this board have gone to uni that are 20+ or know many 20 year olds. Uni students probably have more sex than most people. I know uni students (and ex-students) are a lot of folk now a days, but they're not everyone!

My friends and I are 16/17 and so far none of us have slept with anyone. Tbh I doubt any of us would've slept with more than 2 or 3 by the time we're 20.
