I actually don't know. Maybe I'll go into manufacturing at first.
And to your second question I have absolutely no idea. I suspect I'll need to be using CAD, though I don't like it very much. Maybe stress + fatigue loading for different materials and a bit of controls but I'm just guessing here.

But in all seriousness, I don't know. It depends entirely on where you go, and mechanicals can go just about anywhere. I would hazard a guess that you won't be using calculus and the more advanced maths unless you go into academia or developing the software packages used, but apart from that you could end up using anything, or almost nothing if you become a project engineer or quality engineer.
