I couldn't find much on the internet in this issue, so I thought of asking it here to those from this community.

Before you discovered about your sexuality, did you in any way shape or form consume pornographic material?

If you didn't, how did you discover that you aren't straight?

If you did, did you discover that you weren't straight, straight away ...or did it take time? If it did how long did it take?

No, i would just see girls on tv and films that made me feel the way you feel when you're crushing and whatever interest I had in guys started to dwindle, I'd say both of these things happened over from about 15 to 18 where I was in pretty serious denial, then I just accepted it and here I am today :biggrin:

No problem, growing up I always seemed to have crushes on guys but I think that was probably much more influenced by the fact that my friends were getting crushes on guys, I may well have had crushes on girls when I was younger but if I did I didn't realise/acknowledge them

I used it because I was a horny teenager but...I mostly read erotica and fanfiction because I felt religiously guilty/sinful about the video stuff.

When you said it took 6 years, do you mean that it took 6 years to confirm or 6 years to "grow" that feeling until it was sufficient for you to realise that you are not straight. Why does it take that long?

Not really and not intentionally, when I was going through the process of beginning to seriously question what I felt about people (I always seemed to have what would be described as crushes on guys but never girls) a guy from my school came in with one of those old lads mags, just nakedish women in provocative poses, I wasn't much interested in that.

What cottoned me on to it all was a long process and I can't pinpoint an exact moment where I had a realisation, just a gradual discovery that what most guys had when it came to certain girls I had for certain guys.

I don't watch porn, still a virgin. I know I'm straight because I seem to want to discover the "secret" of women, and I don't seem to even want to think of men that way. By attraction I think you mean "lust", but yes I don't seem to have any lust for any specific person as of now, but just generally I feel it'll more likely be over a female than a male for the above reason. As for "love" and "crushes", I've felt a lot that way to a lot of girls that really never translated to lust. I know for sure I would lust over any nude female, anyways.

By "crushes" you mean what is purely non-sexual desires, or a mixture of non-sexual and sexual desires? Did you initially feel sexual desire towards guys that you couldn't find towards girls, or was it non-sexual?

So did you feel that you could like work on your desire? The more you tried to have a sexual desire towards guys, the more it grew?

I did towards a guy in my year, did really know what it was but as far as I remeber it was the first physical sexual attraction I had towards somebody

It didn't really work on it if anything I worked against developing an attraction towards guys, it quite intimidated me and I knew it would make my life I neccesarily hard. At the time I would have preferred no sexual desires at all over having them towards the same sex.

I don't think I ever looked at porn before realising I have a thing for women. I always knew I liked guys, and then I got a crush on a girl when I was in year 10. I was very confused and wasn't sure about what I was feeling, then I was also dealing with some homophobia from a person close to me, so for a long time I tried to block it out. Eventually, after a year or so I accepted that I'm just bi or something.

I have come across cases like this before.

Have you considered that its not women that trigger your sexual arousal, but in fact its free pizza?

Have you heard of "big sausage pizza"? For scientific purposes, I would be interested to hear what you think about it. :holmes:
