C2 maths help

Hi I was just looking at the work I've missed today due to being ill. We were doing translations of graphs and I under stood the basic ones but I'm stuck on the question:
What vector translates 16x^4 to (2x+1)^4

I'm just about confused to how you approach this one.

Well, you know that $16 = 2^4$, so: $16x^4 = 2^4 x^4 = (2x)^4$.

So, if you have $f(x) = (2x)^4$, what translation would you require to get $f_T(x) = (2x+1)^4$?
