Strategy consulting vs Business transformation consulting

I'm mulling over which one to choose as a firm im applying to offers both, but the trouble is im a bit lost.

So could anyone here shed some light on the differences between the two (i.e. some examples of typical work for both roles), the exit opportunities, salary and general reputation of both services.

Strategy without even questioning it.

Strategy consulting is very elite, and as such very well respected - you gain an almost unmatched skill set. You can exit into almost anything bar maybe Hedge Funds.

The work will be almost all analysis and 'thought-based'

The starting salary is just above 40k with around 5k sign on.
I am not entirely sure what Business Transformation Consulting is, but it appears to have a strong implementation component, such skills are not highly sought after.
