Trump pushes for 'safe zone' in Syria, criticises European refugee policy

No wonder the establishment dislike him. He wants common sense on foreign policy and not blind interventionism that has destabilized Middle East. Don't get me wrong he's not anti-war but knows that this regime change in Middle East is a disaster (is it done on purpose?) If Hillary wins things will be exactly the same because of her history and the people she is connected to like Kissinger.

There's nothing wrong with any of what he says there. Islamic immigration is damaging Germany and Sweden. Why should America, or any country, take in people who they know nothing about? Why shouldn't a safe place be created for those people near where they live?

For one thing, only 20% of the migrants are actual refugees. For another, why should Western culture be destroyed by a completely incompatible and alien culture?

The European policy on immigration is deserving of criticism. It consists of Merkel proclaiming safe haven to anybody that shows up in Germany and then insisting the rest of Europe take in quotas to clean up the mess she created.

Safe Zones are a stupid idea. For example, who will establish the safe zones, how would they decide who gets in, how any people would it accomodate, how would it be policed,how much would it cost, how long will it be there for?

So are we ignoring the various civilians that have died as a result of these campaigns or the hospitals that the russians bombed? Or that ISIS is spread across a huge chunk of Syria so lots of civilians are always going to be in the firing line unless they leave.

Possibly those Germany, Sweden etc felt the need to step up because hardly any of the countries would do anything other than bitch and whine about the thought of taking in people whose homeland they're bombing

I wondered how long before a "lol derply mail" comment would come alone. FactCheck picked this apart, and shows that 44,710 out of 222,965 in mid 2015 were Syrians - which is approximately 20%.
