Yea i noticed. I assume that they often do that to convince themselves that they are smarter than they actually are.

I used to be a bboy in primary cuz I could windmill and do a few flips

But that was primary

Now that I think of it, BTEC dance is something I might have done if I failed my gcses

In my family, if you did btec anything, to them, it indicates that your GCSEs were dead.

Therefore, even if you great grades but wanted to go on to a route that has something to do with hair and beauty specifically then even became successful after awhile, we would say you were stupid for taking the chance.
