Three points A, B and C lie on a level plane.B is 7 km from A on a bearing of 030°.C is 5 km from B on a bearing of 280°.The distance AC is Answer km.The bearing of A from C is Answer°.The area of the triangle ABC is Answer km°.(Give all answers correct to 3 significant figures)


How do I do this question. I've tried so many times!!!
Could somebody please help!

What have you tried so far? I assume you've drawn a diagram - can you post a picture of it?

I cant post the picture of it, but i have drawn the diagram.
The calculation for the length of AC that I had was:
5sin(80)
----------
sin(30)

I think your diagram is incorrect which is why it would be useful if you posted it.

You seem to be assuming that angle CAB is 30. Have another think about that.

Ignore the sentence in my last post (now deleted) about using AB in your working.
