Good question actually.

It is more relaxed than school and fine to call lecturers by their first names.

However I guess at older, prestigious institutions 'Sir' or 'Miss' might be appropriate in some cases.

Proffessor? Lol

:toofunny:

@whorace what would you call them?
Mostly first and second name.

Some you felt okay calling them by their first name.

One made a girl cry (she happened to be particularly fragile anyway but still) she called him by his first name and he was like "No call me Dr..." :lolwut: but he was clearly crippled by a superiority/inferiority complex.

Were you there when it happened?

Why are other people's lives more eventful than mine.

No drama at all for me. :ahee:
Dr... Until they tell you otherwise

If they have an official title such as Dr or Professor by that followed by their surname

if not by mr/ms/mrs followed by surname or politely as Sir

I sarcastically call them Dr while asking questions I know they can't answer so they look bad to the rest of the group.
