Has anyone else received an offer for primary education at Edinburgh uni as I got a conditional offer today.

Aw well done for getting an interview and thank you!!, If it's the same lay out as mine you will do your presentation and mine was only infront of a very small number of people (3) and you just stand up and talk and it's so relaxed just say what you have too and practice it! If you need to you can bring little flash card just don't write exactly what your going to say or read from it! Then after everyone has done their presentation you do a group disscussion with the other people in your group for 15 minutes, it just feels like your having a normal converstaion, make sure you talk as much as you can but (not too much!) and just stay calm and everything will go fine, good luck.

what topics did people do too? and do you like talk about the topic and give your opinions basically yeah? this is my first interview (as you can probably tell)

I dont mine on parental involvement in education and some people stuck to the options some people did their own one but either way it doesnt matter and yeah.

i'm thinking of doing parental involvement as well, where i come from there is hardly any so I'm just going to research it in the UK, thanks again!!!!!!!

Stirling in the only uni i'm waiting to hear back from and its my first choice so i need them to reply soon so

Hi Beth,

I received my offer for Edinburgh on 8th March for Primary Education with History - C in English, B in Maths. However, I think I've leaned more towards doing Secondary Education at Stirling now. Sadly Edinburgh don't offer a similar qualification as it's one of the top Universities.

Well done on your offer, why is Stirling your first choice and which specialism did you pick?

Hi, thank you and you too, and aw really, i got an offer of 4 B's in adv english, maths, pe and mods for some reason even though i missed the min requirements in one sitting by an A, and i live really close to stirling, ive done alot of helping out in so many local primaries so i could have the chance to go back, and the campus is really nice but they are the only place i am waiting to hear from.

That seems quite high requirement or is that just me? How many highers so you have? Xx
