everyone loved kai (I was a tyson fan as well). whats weird is the main reason I used to watch beyblade was for the music. I couldnt care less about watching it for story. I used to love the songs from Grevolution (this was back in the day where people started getting mp3s and youtube wasnt around/ people didnt download) and everytime it came on, i used to use a tape recorder to record the songs. as soon as downloading came popular in 2006/7ish, first things I downloaded were the insert songs from g-rev :|

I tend to avoid mainstream unless its actually good, not like sword art online and stuff xD i prefer anime that actually interests me and is not about harem

my brother loves attack on titan....i only watched like an episode with him became a little disinterested xD nope to danmachi!

is durarara x2 considered mainstream. the manga was popular in japan but hardly anyone I know has heard of it

i've never heard of it actually it rings a very distant bell............. but it'll be mainstream in japan but not here in europe and the other side of the world
