Historiography: is this view a Whig, Revisionist or a post-revisionist interpret...

Hi, so I'm writing this essay (fun) and the question is whether "The actions of Charles I in the years 1641 to 16.42 led directly to the outbreak of the Civil War.’ do you think that this is a Whig, Revisionist or a post-revisionist interpretation?

Thanks.

A Whig interpretation. The Whigs believed that the events before the Civil War led inexorably towards conflict.
