Postgraduate loan for existing students

Hi everyone,
I started my masters (Msc in finance & Risk management ) in January this year.
I am doing it part time so its a 2 years course.
my question is that will I be able to apply for postgraduate loan even though I have already started my course before September.

It doesn't say anything about existing postgraduate students
If you’re thinking of starting a master's course on or after 1 August 2016, you could be eligible for a loan from the UK government of up to £10,000.

It's for courses which start from Sept 16 onwards, so you won't be eligible.
