Help needed thanks

Hi, I was stuck on this question because I didn't understand it whatsoever. However, I am aware that it has something to do with scale factors...

Do you need help with the first bit or the second bit? The first bit is just volume of cuboid added to volume of pyramid.

The bit says that the model is built with to scale of 1:30, i.e: the length scale factor is 30. So the area scale factor is 30^2.

Which means that the actual area is 30^2 times bigger than the quoted area.
