I'd buy a £2500 mac book pro and spend the rest on clothes/trainers £1250 and holiday (Italy - Florence) or OUSSA renaissance art course £1250 inc accommodation..

Ergh, I didn't mention the seed. I'm hoping to capitalise on my genes not dilute them with your sh*t. :puke:
Put it towards apartment/car/savings/holiday/business/future aspirations.
Check they didn't want it back then probably spend like £1000 on random stuff, save a few thousand and invest the rest. I figure that they might start doing something like this to me and my brother at some point to help avoid inheritance tax theft.
Considering the fact that I regularly give my mum money, I would be pretty surprised. I would put it in a savings account and just leave it for when she needed money I suppose.
Well considering their is 0 chance my mum could afford to give me that I'd give it back.

Though if we were in some sort of alternative universe where my mum could afford it, I'd put it in savings for now.
