A report on the Milan defeat this weekend: "If the lack of cohesion was understandable, given the two players’ scant experience of playing together, then Balotelli’s indifferent body language and failure to impose himself on his own terms were harder to justify. He did not touch the ball once in Sassuolo’s penalty area, and was subbed off in the 55th minute."

Oh, Mario.

What are you doing?

He only turns 26 in the summer. I imagine he'll end up in China eventually where he can get a ton of money. Doesn't seem to care enough to play at a top European club and I imagine he'd be a nightmare at a club who were fighting relegation for example.

No doubt he has a lavish lifestyle so it's not like he's going to retire young either.

Apparently he's kept his head down and worked hard in training since being at Milan. It's just not translating into performances on the pitch. Granted, he hasn't been helped by injuries, but neither has Bacca.

The difference is Bacca is industrious and that translates well to the crowd and pays dividends. Balotelli is a luxury, and when he's not playing well, it's one you can't afford.

If we can get anything in the £5-10mil range in the summer, I'll be happy enough.
Luis Suárez returned to Liverpool’s training ground on Tuesday to reunite with former team-mates and watch Jürgen Klopp put his players through their paces.

The Barcelona striker spent the morning at Melwood, accompanied by his son Benji and daughter Delfina, and an Anfield source told the Liverpool Echo: “Luis is on holiday from Barcelona, and so has come to spend time with his old friends. We have relaxed the visitor regulations for him. He’s just chilling out in the canteen with his little girl and boy and will watch training.”

Quite nice to see.

Strong cuckoldry.

Well he caved on the Arsenal transfer and then gave us his best season.

The Barcelona move? Well isn't that a tried and tested route made by Arsenal players. How dare he want to move where he probably gets paid double, plays with some of the best players in the world and could win everything under the sun this season. Such a disgrace

Was just pointing out it's nice to see a great player still have affections for the club/city/fans.

We can't all do it like Arsenal where their best ex-players like Viera find a new and better girlfriend in Man City and shacks up with them instead of coming back. Even Bergkamp prefers Ajax over Arsenal.

I've never found any Arsenal fans who can explain why ex-players don't come back. Is it Wenger or the club?

No because he had repaid the faith the fans and the club put in him by that point by winning numerous trophies for the club and fans. And the board were happy to receive the transfer fee they got, as it entered a period of financial austerity. There wasn't much else he could have done for the club, and to keep him here would have been to hold him back. In many regards, it's much more akin to how SAF let Phil Neville go, and while it was Phil's wife who was crying when he left Old Trafford, Thierry has admitted himself that he cried when he left Arsenal.

Now compare that to Suarez who repaid the faith and time Liverpool put in him by winning one league cup against Cardiff, and then biting himself to bigger and better things. The club even tried to stand by him the first time  #cucked

Can't work out if srs
He will be remembered and thanked for getting a mid table squad into the top 4 and almost to a PL title, that season was incredible to watch even though we didn't win anything other than the 2nd place trophy :P.

Which would be higher than Arsenal have finished in the league in the past decade.
Only just seen that Ojo bagged a hat-trick for our U21s last night against Boro in a 3-2 victory. Kid continues to impress.
Premier League clubs are now to cap away tickets at £30 for the next three seasons as reported by BBC Sport.

Great news.
