Integrate the function, use the given point to find the constant, then find the coordinates of A.
Now use f ' (x) to find the gradient of the tangent. The negative reciprocal is the gradient of the normal!

the normal to the curve has a gradient which is a negative reciprocal to the tangent. so if we let m=gradient of the normal line then the equaion is
y+2=m(x-1)
