As there's now a pretty fair chance that Trump may be the next President of the USA and hence the most powerful man in the world we should care what Trump thinks.

The US President is leader of the free world and the world's largest economy. He's also commander in chief of the world's most powerful military. I'm not sure if that makes him the most powerful man in the world but I'd say he's way up there on the list.
