I am a cool guy, I am going to abstain from sex.

Not because of religion , I am an atheist.
But because I think sex takes over your life, and you become a slave to it.
Look at how many people have ruined their careers/marriages because of sex.
I want complete mastery over my mind and actions , which I think can only be achieved through abstinance .

Once I will abstain from sex I will achieve superhuman powers.
I don't think my life has been ruined because of sex, it is your own fault if you become addicted to something. I've tried cigarettes before when people have offered a few times, and then I concluded they weren't for me, I never spent money on them and never touched them again. It is up to you to be strong without restricting yourself.
Does that mean your hand will be working overtime?
It's a free world, and thus your choice. Nobody needs sex, I guess...

Oh come on. Almost everyone has sex. It's completely normal.
So you can't get laid and want to make yourself feel better?
that said, I don't think we can control actions/thoughts. not 100% of the time. if you stub your toe, you say ow, right? you cannot really control that. people who get caught up in sex don't really know how to manage it properly.

Through doing this are you not making sex have a bigger influence over your life through taking this extreme action? IF people do ruin their career/marriages and blame sex for their failure then they are just using it to cover up the real reason why they failed.

Anyway try name some people who are abstinent and successful?
