Is it normal for a girl to trash her man's possessions when he cheats?

I keep seeing all these music videos with girls going into their boyfriends house and trashing all his things while laughing when he cheats, guess the first was "Take a Bow" by Rhianna.

Does this happen a lot in real life and if it does why? Seems really really stupid.

it probably happens in real life but it's criminal damage. if a bitch smashed by stuff, i'd report her ass to the police. cheating does not justify an emotional outburst, especially to the extent of causing criminal damage.
Same if its the other way round, if some guy trashed my stuff just because Id cheated Id report the ***** too people should just deal with it.
