Why should teens care about changing the world?

I REALLY need help on this piece of persuasive writing. The question is why teenagers should care about changing the world? And you also need to include things like why we should care and what we need to change. Btw this is a speech and you need to include things like racism stereotypes ect.
I would be SO happy if you could list reasons why we should care to change the world.

i could start you off by saying that teens should care about changing the world because in the future we're the ones living in it and helping to run society and make things work

Teenagers are in escence, the future of the world. If they have no say over the changes that occur now, then they have no control over their future and what will happen to the way they live.
Not just that, but to be blunt, teens are the ones who will pick up the pieces and carry on from where ever it was left off. It doesn't matter to those currently making the decisions as they wont be here.

You should care because one day you'll be an independent adult having to survive and function in the world you can either help or ignore.

hmmm.... maybe

in the past people like Einstein newton etc etc have made discoveries and changed the world with them, who will make new discoveries if the younger generation doesn't?

They should not. They have no experience, and even if they could change it who is to say they would change it for the better? They rarely do, they just push the same socialist dogma.
