HCl --> H+ + Cl-
Compared to sulfuric acid which is weaker. H2SO4 has two H+ ions to dissociate but isn't completely done in one reaction:
H2SO4 - - > H+ + HSO4-
HSO4- <--> 2H+ + SO4-

A strong acid dissociates the H+ ion completely. Ie HCl has one H+ ion to give away

Look at the titration curves in your work book. The equivalence points are different depending if it's a strong acid vs. strong base or strong acid vs weak base
