Not going to lie - I kind of thought of you as well

Good to know you remembered :hugs:

So as a whole would you guys recommend i take Maths, Further maths, German, and physics. I guess i could leave chemical engineering

If you're almost 100% sure about going into Aerospace Engineering, then yep.

Well, since I'll be studying the exact same subjects as you soon, I couldn't exactly forget :mmm:
Just do further maths. You can learn german as a hobby.

My pleasure

I think you should be making the choice between Chemistry and German. Past that point it's really up to you

Yeah, now it all depends on whether or not theyll let me sit on on german lessons and how much i want to have chemical engineering as a possible option

Is it in your block of subjects? Cause if it's during your free periods and you're gonna sit in, I don't see why you can't actively participate :erm:

Alright cool!

As much as I'm encouraging you to pick FM, I must say German has been a wild ride and I'd probably pick it again if I had the choice. It's extremely tough if you're mathematically minded like me, but worth the struggle. It honestly feels so good when you learn a new language and you realise you can speak to millions of new people

Yeah, its the prospect of speaking another language that really appeals to me, especially the ties it has with engineering. Thanks again for all the help

Mhm, learning German would come in handy if you ever considering working with automobiles. :yep:

Agreed :five: Please let me know what you end up choosing.. My pleasure!

And let me know if you'd like any help with applying to uni for aerospace - I've done both the US and UK this year so that's always open

Yeah, i was considering car design but decided against it. and the other options also work with automotive engineering (if thats what its called), right?

Thanks mate, ill notify you once its final and keep you updated. Luckily my school says i can keep switching up until late september as they know a lot of people dont like subjects as much as they thought they would once they start the new course. Hopefully though you wont have to wait that long.

Yep, you're right - although both aerospace and automotive are specialisations on mechanical. Seems like you pretty much know what you want to do!

I've also talked to a couple of friends of mine who are currently doing engineering courses, and they've pretty much said that they teach chemistry from scratch and the A-level is a excessive.
