Loool thats literally me and my sisters, we wear hijab so when people see our hair they get shocked cuz they expect us to have frizzy hair. People don't get there are so many types of Africans we dont all look the same

Well I personally haven't seen any Somali with straight hair:laugh:, but I do know that most Somalis have silky wavy/ curly hair while some do have kinky hair, but straight hair.. I don't know about that!

I'm a Somali with kinky hair, comes from my dad's side. my mum has that silky kind of hair mentioned before.

I liked my kinky hair, mother forced me to relax it lol.

I daresay I'd think anything of it. If I knew she normally had curly hair I'd probably think 'oh, she straightened her hair, looks nice'?
