What do you think of the name Hyde as a first name?

Not a good choice. It's that bad that I wondered if you meant 'Heidi' and spelt it another way. Heidi is cool but Hyde sucks.
Obviously I think of Jekyll and Hyde as soon as I hear that name but its not the worst name ever. It is very hipster sounding though.
Reminds me of a nearby town

Would you name your kid Manchester/London/Birmingham?
It's almost as bad as Superman, Gazza or Gandalf.
I like it

and I seem to be the only one :getmecoat:

A name can't possibly be creepy.
Sounds more like a surname to me.

And yes, my first thought was Jekyll and Hyde.

Yeah I like it, but it has to be assigned to the right looking person.
Jesus that reminds me, my friend is pregnant and is thinking of calling her baby Mike, which is a very nice name, but her last name is 'Hunt'. Ive yet to have a word with her about it but I havent seen her in a while.
