Why am I wrong on 7 part ii) a) finding Vo? (ans: is 3.1 ms^-1 but why would v=0?)

You're overthinking it. STATE Vo. Vo means 'Initial Velocity'.

In other words, the velocity that C starts with, which is 3.1 m/s
