Inheritance and redundancy

My Grandad passed away this year so my Mum has received inheritance. Also, my Mum's partner, who lives with us, has been made redundant and received a redundancy payment. Will these affect my student finance at all?

They could do but probably not this year - your funding for 2016/17 is based on the tax year 2014/15.
Next year the current financial year will be used to assess you - if your household income has dropped by more then 15% then you complete the income assessment as usual and then fill in an additional assessment for in-year finance (eg http://media.slc.co.uk/sfe/1617/ft/sfe_cyi_1617_d.pdf is the form for this year).
