well you'd have to be bleedin rich in order to fully secure your house with all the shutters and security cameras etc, even though the film is not based on a true story, i am SO glad i don't live in America :tongue:

The Exorcist when I first saw it when I was about 9. Its not scary now since I've watched it a million times since but I still see it as a masterpiece and its probably my all time fave film

Scariest modern film I've seen lately was probably Dark Skies. That was the first film I've literally screamed at for years

The old style horror films from the 70s or 80s have an eerie quality to them. Films like the original Poltergeist or The Exorcist

I'd say it was good, but certainly not scary. Some bits of it were too predictable (the woman scaring the camera man down the well thing for instance.) Also, I felt like the ending didn't really close the story well enough and some bits were just unnecessary.
