I do support any form of free speech. Even though i COMPLETELY disagree with Islam.

I am however opposed to facist and tyrannical means of asserting a point. Like banning people from shopping centres or arresting people for speaking their mind.

Some Christians are gay and find themselves being turned away from Churches (or, in the case of someone at my sister's Church, getting hot coffee thrown over them because another worshipper thinks they're gay). That's an example of Christians against homosexuality having their beliefs tolerated in this world - it's not pretty, but it happens every day. While large numbers of Christians are judging others and turning them away from their chosen place of worship for holding different beliefs or living a different life I don't think you can complain about people turning Christians away for the same reasons.

The thing with Christainity is that it is a broad church. Many Christians are very tolerant people and there is no shortage of gay Christians. Unfortunately there is a minority that use their religion to preach hate. I'm quite happy to call a man who dehumanises people by calling them less than animals or quotes passages calling for their death an intolerant bigot.

And I'm sorry you don't like criticism of certain Christain or the lampooning of its figurehead, but it's the hallmark of a free society.

You can't call yourself a Christian and openly break numerous commandments the LORD gave us. It's as easy as that.


I am against any form of violence. When Jesus preached his message he never used a sword as some false prophets have done so no i am against forcing people to believe in an ideology, but i do however believe in telling non-believers or sinners the consequences of their lifestyle if they choose to continue living in sin.

I follow the teachings of Jesus and the ten commandments only as that's primarily what Jesus commanded me to do.

Those laws about eating shellfish, having long hair, and resting on the sabbath are either strictly for the Jews or completely irrelevant to the new covenant because i can already tell that's where you were going with this. :wink:

If you follow the teachings of Jesus and the ten commandments only where are you getting your commandments against homosexuality from? Because I guarantee you that Jesus never said a word about it and neither did the ten commandments.

And of course you can tell where I was going with this, because you know full well that half the Bible is discarded by Christians but for some reason the gay thing has been kept. And don't mention Paul because he has nothing to do with Jesus or the ten commandments - he was simply an early Christian.

For your first point. You need to understand that there's a difference between supporting an ideology, and supporting the right for a person to support an ideology.

Most people who know me know that if i could fully express my views of islam on here, it would get me permanently banned. But i do support a person expressing their views, even though they do quote a book (The Qur'an) that has more holes that a donut shop.


You are supporting fascism, and imperialistic oppression by not allowing people to say what they want. You Orwellian double talking socialist.

Mark 7: 21- 23 "For it is from within, out of a person’s heart, that evil thoughts come—sexual immorality, theft, murder,
22 adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. 23 All these evils come from inside and defile a person.”


Jesus was a well educated hebrew so he knew the Law, and he knew what sexual immorality was.

That's around £280,000. The average UK house price is £288,000.


To have a net worth of just under £300,000 is hardly atypical for any 74 year old (given the huge increase in house prices and the fact that they would have paid off their mortgage by then), let alone one that has been in the upper echelons of elected office for decades.


If I had been an elected senator/rep in the U.S. for decades and only had assets totalling £280,000 at retirement age I would be pretty disappointed with myself in all honesty.
