It's just that I find thick eyebrows and thick dark lashes ridiculously attractive...blond guys dont have that :/

If i like em, I like em. Hair colour isn't relevant for me BUT saying that hairstyle is a factor in terms of finding them attractive physically.

Scientifically speaking it's because both natural blond and redhead hair is caused by recessive mutations on a combination of genes. I don't know much about the genetics of blond hair but I do know that red hair is caused by a mutated copy of the MC1R gene which causes more pheomelanin pigment to be produced as opposed to the usual eumelanin which cases brown hair. I think blond hair is caused when neither pigment is produced but don't quote me on that

If your question is more rhetorical, I guess it's because if something is rare it makes it that more special. Only 4% of the world population is naturally blond compared to the 1-2% which is naturally redheaded.
