So there is someone that I am pretty good acquaintances with. And suddenly one day, after we hadn't spoken for a while, when we make eye contact, he makes a face, pretending to lick his middle finger at me. I just laughed and avoided looking at him for the rest of the day

If they approach you and you still find it uncomfortable, just tell them straight up that that's how you feel and that you'd appreciate it if they stopped. It one of two things: they're doing it to annoy you/they know it may annoy you (because that's what my friends to do to me lmao) OR because they really like you.
