Perhaps you should best to be on the safe side keep yourself fit and healthy an' all.
Both my parents had the flu and now I'm off school with some sort of tummy bug. However I did have meningitis jabs yesterday so that may be a factor.

not really, its the fever that is dangerous
under 2yo it can be fatal, a child locally died of it last week

Not anymore it's like normal flu when it first came out it was worse now it's bunged in with all the other types of flu in terms of severity.
