Acoustic.

Is electric more difficult?

I would say it's more complex because of the solos. Acoustic is best for beginners  but I just love the feel of acoustic, so I stick to that most of the time!
what do you think of this solo?

Will you join my band?

Have been for 6 years.

I've come to a point where I don't know what songs to learn anymore. I tend to flick through my iPod and use the guitar tabs app.

Can you play.... this?

Just finished learning the intro  but it's a lot harder since I don't have my acoustic with me... I'm playing on a dodgy electric.

Ahhh cool! I love the guitar part in that song. Haha I've never actually played acoustic, I only like steel strings! What type of guitar do you have?

A beautiful mahogany fender  to be fair it is electric-acoustic. Best of both worlds

It's definitely a good riff. I tend to learn via YouTube.

Awesome!! Ahh I see, yes I agree!
Yeah it is! And I used to use YouTube, but my hands were too small for quite a few of the power chords so I end up having to re-tab everything anyway

Yep, they sound really cool in my opinion. Not as soft as a nylon string, sounds brighter which is what I prefer.
This is what they sound like

Ugh, I just started a few month ago and MY FINGERS HURT...........

I feel like quitting, but I really want to learn......

any advice?

You'll get there eventually, just keep it up.

Keep practicing. Your fingers will eventually get to the point where they wont hurt anymore if you practice enough. I've been playing for 10 years (I'm 16) and now I've got to the stage where I can play things without any pain.
Can you play faster than me?
