a lot f the so called letters were stated fabrications by the ruling british during the indian movement for independance- british were experts at spreading flase propaganda and divide and conquer. ganhdi while in south afirca was a lawyer and though initially he wasnt , i latter part his career there he became a civll rights specialis and did lots of work with black - this is why african groups pre anc - and why Mandela held him in such high esteem

i love how all these internet trolls try and pretend they knew the attiudes of gandhi on africans more than mandela and those who knew gandhi best

by this logic, Indians see white people as superior to themselves? Or does the whole light > dark only go to a certain level of darkness? If so where is the line drawn?

I never said brown skin I said brown people, are sick minded people...Sick minded as in the way they think. Bad mind, sick mind....never heard of these phrases?
Other than the examplary Nordic nations I think all other counties are struggling to deal with racism. Be it uk or India or even Zimbabwe.

That's a lovely post you wrote but it does not change the fact that black people and other people with darker skin get treated badly in countries like India where light skin seems to set the standards of beauty. Giving us a history lesson does not change the fact that this mentality (light skin makes you more beautiful and means you get better treatment) is very strong among these people and it is not changing nearly as fast as most of us want it to.


obviously there will be existence of racist ppl there, there is everywhere, you can go out of your house today in uk and bump into one.. and racism exists in africa too of course it does, for example a friend of mine who is chinese has been made fun of due to his race by black people in nigeria where he has worked for a chinese company.
you are trying to to assume you know attitude of all indians, when indians attitude various massivley based onn their individual cultures and even micro-ethnicitiy. north indians are much fairer than you, but some south indians will actually be darker than you - they are both indians - there is 1.2 billion of us fyi/ actually the darker south indians i maintain are generally far more intelligent than the northern pale ones
india has a few hundred of millions of kids that cant afford to go to school and have to go get a job from 6 years old - this does not set everyone up to be the world -wise tolerant person that will not be shocked whne they meet an african for the first time in their life - that is the reality of life.
