is modern family any good? I watched a few of the first eps, but the comedy seemed too Pg-13 / family friendly to be interesting for more than a few eps

I watched the trailer and I was like oh god a high school comedy but after the first episode I realised it was a masterpiece, The characters have so much depth to them and they feel so real. It breaks alot of cliches and is heart warmingly funny. It's so good, you should definitely watch it!
