Stuck - difference between Amplitude & Displacement in SHM?

What is the difference between them both in Simple Harmonic Motion?

Amplitude is the maximum absolute value of the displacement. That is, the displacement is where the particle happens to be at a particular time; the amplitude is the largest value of the displacement away from the neutral position.
